Apart from regular facilities of classrooms, laboratories, workshops, well equipped and furnished seminal hall and staff rooms, SVIT provides facilities like canteen health care unit, stationery store, students common room, audio-visual room, conference room, telephone, fax and photocopy booth and internet facilities with more than 100 connections.
Library
We have an independent library with an extensive range of books and subscription of periodicals and journals. Recently E-library and E-journals also been added. A rich collection of articles on advanced topics are available on CDs. Digitized University Exam papers are also available from the library. A language laboratory has been developed for the students aspiring to go abroad. We also have a Book-bank for needy students is organized and a group of students are given set of textbooks every semester.

- College has E-Library with 20 terminals, students are shared this facility with Engineering Library. We have subscribed three packages of E-Journals i.e. IEL; ASME; ASCE
- Library has their own library server with 2TB Hard Disk and 5 GB RAM and all E-Resources like E-Books, Articles, University Exam Paper, Engineering Miracles, PPT pertaining to different topics, Photographs of different events of college etc. are uploaded.
Educational Visits
The institute continuously tries to provide improved facilities for technical activities such as industrial visits, in plant training, sports, computer training, technical presentations (with LCD/multimedia projector), communication skills etc.
Computer Facilities
A computer center with above 1 mbps Internet bandwidth is functioning on campus, which can be used by students and faculty members at specifically earmarked Internet labs. Students are encouraged to use Internet to prepare papers for presentation, get project ideas, and information about various career options after their current, etc.
Software like Autocad, Revit, 3d Max, Corel draw, Photoshop, Power point, and many other graphic software which are utmost important for architecture students are available.
Personality Development
The literary and debating society conducts programmes for enhancing skills and development of overall personality of students through debates, elocutions, quizzes and other similar activities. A forum called Edge‘Ucator gives opportunities to students for bringing out their talent in public speaking, knowledge on current affairs, etc.
Transportation Facilities
Bus facilities are available for students commuting from Baroda, Anand, Vallabh Vidyanagar and Ahmedabad to SVIT.
Accomodation Facilities
Though the institute does not have any hostels of its own, it does prescribe a list of approved hostels. Both NEST and SVIT help and guide every student for residential accommodation, NEST has made separate arrangements for girl students. Hostel fee structure etc., as indicated here, gives an estimate of expenditure, etc., in addition to tuition fees. Hostel fees will be approximately Rs. 8000/- per year. An amount of Rs. 1000/- will be collected as hostel deposit by approved hostel-owners. Food bill which may be approximately Rs. 1000/- p.m. and electricity bill will be charged extra. Hostel fees and all these charges may vary from time to time. All these payments will have to be made on demand to approved hostel directly. Part payment of any of the above amount is not admissible.
Vallabh Vidyanagar, the university town, is only 20 kms away from Vasad; so many SVIT students find it convenient to stay in numerous hostels, which are available there.
